Outfits

When choosing outfits for engagement pictures it is always nice to have a couple of options if you choose to. I would suggest a more formal look and if you wanted a second look something a little more casual but still nice.

Make it Personal

If there is something the two of you enjoy doing together, riding bikes, playing the guitar, studying the Bible, painting, picnics, reading books, enjoying coffee, sharing a pizza, playing with your dogs, etc. bring it to your session. As a photographer my job is to capture you as a couple and when you bring in the things you love it gives your session character. I love incorporating different things into sessions.

Make it fun

Wether you like pictures of not it's important to be in the right headset and have fun during a session. I can always tell when the people in front of my camera are dreading being there or they genuinely just want to have a good time and get some fun images. It makes such a difference. So whatever you have to do, turn it in to a date night, make the most of the evening and I promise the pictures will turn out so fun and you will love them.
